           THE RESULTS

A heartfelt thank‑you to everyone who gifted their time, skills, and energy so freely, all because of their love for the Croft. It proves again that this community really does stand together when it matters.. We are so proud of belonging to such an awesome place. Go Leith!! <3

A great day, great runners, great volunteers and staff, even great weather - considering the forecast.

Here are the full set of results…

Our Collective Goal was 4,536 laps. One for every day the Croft’s parent organisation, Earth in Common, has existed. Whilst we did not reach what was later regarded as an unrealistic target, thought up by a non runner, we did however, and much to our amazement achieve over half of it. WOW!

Here is the stats...

62 runners ran or walked a whopping 194 x 5 km sets, a total of 970 kilometres, or the equivalent of 2,425 laps of the croft.

Thanks everyone for their custom and donations. The weekend so far has raised over £8,324, with donations still coming in, pictures still being shared on socials and/or via WhatsApp, and certainly people were suffering of sore quads and glutes the next day.

It was a magnificent effort from all the community. The Croft truly felt the love <3 However much more remains to be done as we try to secure ongoing core funding to help sustain us in 2026.

All photos were kindly donated to us by the wonderful Rachel Hein.
Thank you so much, Rachel, for your generosity and beautiful work!

Wendy’s winter remedies workshop infused the day with a gentle, comforting warmth, a little burst of seasonal magic she shared so generously with our community.

Ruzita delighted everyone with her incredible food, rich, comforting, and shared with such generosity. And Anja’s hot toddies? Easily the day’s biggest crowd‑pleaser, warming hands and spirits all at once.
